Baader Trading Days and weekend trading make their debut The weekend of 25 and 26 October 2025 marked Baader Bank's first finance event for private investors with the launch of Baader Trading Days and also saw the rollout of weekend trading. Starting with a limited universe, which nevertheless accounts for a large share of current sales and will gradually be expanded, as of 25 October securities can be traded on Saturdays between 2 pm and 7 pm via Baader Bank. Weekend trading comprises approximately 2500 shares, ETFs and fund units and is carried out exclusively in euro. The extended trading hours initially apply to over-the-counter trading using the request for quote process. For the launch, Baader Bank is implementing the extended trading hours with some of its cooperation partners. In a second phase, it is planned to extend weekend trading to Sundays from 2 pm to 7 pm soon. Selected Baader Bank cooperation partners exhibited at the event at München Hoch5, where they provided around 2000 private investors with insights into the topics of investing and securities trading, as well as their individual offerings. A key aspect of the two-day event was sharing expertise and networking. The finance event included a varied lecture programme with a large number of expert lectures and prominent speakers from the world of finance sharing practical trading expertise. Among the speakers sharing exciting insights from the heart of the trading floor and valuable perspectives into the world of securities and trading were stock market and Wall Street expert Markus Koch, financial journalist Tim Schäfer, who is likewise based in New York, and capital market and stock market commentator Robert Halver. Ralf Schumacher's lecture was a particular highlight, with the former Formula 1 driver explaining how racing principles can be transferred to investment and trading. Other renowned experts also shared practical tips on topics such as online brokerage, market psychology and crypto investments. "The active participation of so many private clients and partners strongly affirms our decision to establish a large-scale information format such as the Baader Trading Days and highlights the clear demand for events of this kind, despite the abundance of media-based information channels", summarises Oliver Riedel, Deputy CEO of Baader Bank. The Baader Trading Days aim to make a significant contribution to the financial knowledge of private investors, while offering a platform for exclusive networking between industry experts and financial enthusiasts. With plans to hold Baader Trading Days annually, Baader Bank seeks to continue to support private investors to build their financial literacy and empower them to make informed investment and trading decisions through hands-on engagement with topics and innovations from the world of securities trading.
