Accountants &Dietmar von Blücher (born in 1973) has been strengthening our Board of Directors at Baader Bank AG since January 2021 and became Member of the Board in July 2021. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for Internal Audit, Compliance, Group Corporate Security, Risk Management, Accounting, Controlling, Credit, Backoffice.
After completing his studies in business administration, in 1996 Dietmar von Blücher began his professional career at Dresdner Bank, where he held various managerial positions in finance and controlling. In 2009, he moved to the Accounting Department at Commerzbank, where he worked as head of the Final Analysis Division. Later, as head of the Department, he was responsible for group finance activities for the non-core assets sector. This sector comprised - among others - the Eurohypo and Deutsche Schiffsbank portfolios, which were later wound down.
In July 2016, Dietmar von Blücher was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer at comdirect bank AG. During his time as a member of the executive board, growth rates increased significantly, while maintaining stable cost structures, and the comdirect group's profitability improved continuously. Furthermore, comdirect's brokerage business was expanded significantly when the Onvista Group was acquired and integrated in 2017. As a result, the comdirect group saw its highest ever profit figures in 2019 and in the first half of 2020.
