Theresia Weber

Theresia Weber discovered her love for securities during her training in banking and economics in September 1975 with the Westdeutsche Landesbank in Düsseldorf.

Following this, she expanded her knowledge of the organisation and processing of securities through her various roles:

  • Operating organisation with Bankhaus Lampe (Relocation of the securities business from Bielefeld to Düsseldorf and the conception of "OMNIS" - a securities program she designed herself)

  • As a speaker, she assisted in the privatisation of the Generalpostkasse (Authority with cameralistic accounting) to the Postbank

  • Process manager for securities services during the development of Advance Bank, an Internet bank

  • Project assistant with BSP (Banking Software Partners) in the Munich help centre supporting affiliated banks - mainly DAB Bank

In January 1991, Theresia Weber moved from her role as a department leader with powers of attorney to the brokerage firm Berwein (Part of the London based S.G.Warburg Group) to collaborate on the development if Berwein´s business area concentrating on capital investment companies and banking.

The move to Baader Bank AG in the summer of 2000 was the opportunity to add banking to her hybrid function as a broker. Since June 2008, Theresia Weber has been member of the Baader Bank Supervisory Board in her role as a employee representative.
