Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG has sold a non strategic portfolio in five investments to a private equity fund, which has been advised by Ventizz Capital Partners Advisory GmbH. The transaction, announced in November 2004, has been executed as of today.

The transaction has a total volume of approximately 5.1 mil. Euro. The accounting profit for Baader Wertpapierhandelsbank AG is contained in the results of fiscal year 2004.

In 2001 the executive board decided to give up the private equity business. With this sale the consistant conversion of the strategic direction is further continued.
